Macarena Sinn joined Jordán, Barahona y Asociados in January 2025. She currently works as legal advisor to companies in the electricity sector, owners and operators of power generation units qualified as NCRE (“Non-Conventional Renewable Energies”) and as counsel to local and foreign companies with operations in Chile, providing advice in legal aspects of corporate governance; development, operation and project financing; among others.

She also assists families and family businesses with a personalized professional advice, especially in aspects related to succession planning and asset reorganization.

During her profesional experience she has worked in: Goldenberg & Lagos Abogados (2020-2024); Estudio Urrejola & Cía.(2017-2020); AES Gener S.A. (today AES Andes S.A.) (2003-2012); Procobre Perú (2001-2002); Chilgener S.A. (1992-1994) and Corporación de Fomento de la Producción (1986-1990).

Lawyer from Universidad de Chile (1991) and Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (2004). She has a Master’s degree in Business Law from Universidad de Los Andes (2023). To date, she has completed the following diploma courses: “Natural Resources and Environment” and “Corporations and Financing” at the same university as well as “National and International Contracting, tax effects” at Universidad Finis Terrae.
