Javiera Vega joined Jordán, Barahona y Asociados in October 2024.
At the beginning of her career, she worked as a consultant at the International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policy (FIIAPP).
For 8 years she worked in a senior position at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), providing specialized advice in the strategic management of the “Hunger Free Latin America and the Caribbean Initiative 2025”.
From March to December 2023, she participated in the constitutional process as an assistant lawyer in several commissions. At the end of 2023 she joined Innova Soluciones Sostenibles, providing technical assistance in the implementation of the Labour Relations Policy with the Public Prosecutor’s Office within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement executed between the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the International Labour Organization (ILO).
Lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2015). Master of Law specialised in Constitutional Law (2020) from the same university, Javiera also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences and Humanities.
She has received two awards, both for her contribution to the country and for her contribution to the right to food in Ibero-America, obtaining the “Líderes Jóvenes 2020” and the Order of Merit In Memoriam Armando Suescún Monroy, respectively.
